Cute kitty cat stakes out in a 40 foot cat tree

Adorable cuddly Millie is a mixture of black and white ginger who lives with owners Donna Bracken and Simon Marsh in an England town. Millie is just a young kitty and only been roaming around the house for about a week. Then one day, she got scared by another cat in the neighborhood, and climbed onto a 40 foot tree. She must have thought it was a really big cat tree. She seems to enjoy staying there that she wouldn’t budge. Donna only noticed her missing and up in the tree after she heard her crying.

Multiple failed attempts to get her down from the cat tree

At first Donna tried to tempt her with food and water to get her to come down. She doesn’t even give a wink. So Donna decides to call the local RSPCA. They couldn’t help but called the fire department. They brought the fire truck, but couldn’t get the ladder up close enough due to the telephone poles close by. So they tried to spray her with the fire hose to persuade her to come down, but she doesn’t react to it. Next attempt was to call a tree surgeon. He managed to climb up about 30 feet, and got a grab of Mille. But Millie managed to get loose, and decided to climb even further up the tree. The branches are too weak for the tree surgeon to get up any further the cat tree.

Final rescue attempt

The only remaining option was to bring in the scaffolding team. The good willing folks gave their equipment and time free of charge to try and bring down Millie. They set up a platform just as high as the tree, and able to see Millie eye to eye. They got a hold of her, and was able to bring her down to safety. But she gave a quite a fight, and the men were quite scratched up.

Donna will now make sure Mille will never wonder around. She’ll just have to get her a much smaller indoor cat tree to climb up.
